Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Potter-Dix’s Lady Coyote volleyball team had a busy week, traveling to Kimball for a Triangular on Thursday, then traveling for a Quadrangular at Bridgeport on Saturday. On Thursday, the Lady Coyotes lost their first match to a sharp Mitchell team 2-to-0, but then rebounded and defeated Kimball 2-to-1. Sophomore Jayden Shoemaker led the offense with 9 kills and sophomore Lily Tabor had 15 digs in the victory.
On Saturday, the girls traveled to Bridgeport and started off against Mitchell, again falling in straight sets 2-to-0. They then faced another powerful team in the Bridgeport Lady Bulldogs and lost in straight sets again, 2-to-0. Potter-Dix was able to salvage their final match of the day against Hyannis with a 2-to-0 victory, 25-to-12 and 25-to-17.
The Lady Coyotes next host the Creek Valley Lady Storm in Potter on Thursday. The Wildcats will be at Wauneta on Friday at 2 p.m.
