Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
The 2020 Four Winds Men’s Golf League came to a finish this past week with the team of Tristen and Chris Zitek, out of Pine Bluffs, winning the overall championship. The Zitek team won over the team of Dennis Deboodt and Leo O’Hare in a battle of division champs.
The Zitek team won with 19.5 team points in their division of the 9 week schedule with Randy Bohac and Kevin Thomas finishing 2nd in that division with 19 points, Mike Moehr and Rich Flores were 3rd, with 17 points and Jeremy Williams and Jonathan Selves 4th with with 15.5 points.
In the Tuesday night division, Deboodt and O’Hare won out with 21 points followed by Terry Lovesee and Jerry Koppinger in 2nd with 19.5, Bob Culek and Klent Schnell 3rd with 16 points and Roger Dohse and Don Moench 4th with 16 points. There were 10 teams in both the Monday and Tuesday evening divisions.
End Of The
Year Shambles
The Four Winds Men’s Golf League season ended with their End of the Year Shambles tournament for members.
Taking 1st place was the team of Andrew McCloud, Bob Culek, and Roger Dohse with a score of 108. Second place went to Kevin Thomas, Don Trofholz, Steve Warner, Gabe Ingram with 114. The 3rd place team with 115 points was Dillon Wise, Grant Hickman, Barry Frederick, Mike Winstrom.
There was a tie for 4th-5th between the teams of Tom O’Brien, Pat O’Brien, Mike Moehr, Mike Kelley, and the team of Jeremy Burks, Keith Staehr, John Fiehtner, Dennis Deboodt with both teams shooting a score of 122. Taking 6th place was Andrew Brown, Steve Pattison, Randy Bohac, Mark Anderson with 127.
