Yard Of The Week

The home of Jim and Betty Schulte received the most recent Yard of the Week award.

The Schultes have lived in the house at 400 S. High School Street for 35 years. The yard had no flowers when they purchased the home.

Although many of the flowers in the yard have already bloomed, the beautifully maintained yard is still eye-appealing.

In the front yard, Betty has day lilies, corn lilies, lots of vines, and snow on the mountain, and in the backyard she has raspberries and tomatoes along with flowers.

Many of Betty's plants were started from Mr. and Mrs. Don Meyers' plants.

Betty said, "My grandma liked flowers and I do too."

Presenting the Yard of the Week to Betty Schulte was Morgan Baker.
