Steven A. Kuhlman

Steven A. Kuhlman, 65, of Las Cruces, NM, died on June 18, 2020. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the Cantrell Funeral Home in Kimball with Pastor Kenneth Mars officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date.

Steven Allen Kuhlman was born in Kimball, NE on September 18, 1954 to David and Helen (Weinmeister) Kuhlman. He attended and graduated from Kimball County High School. Early in his career Steven managed Kimball Clothing and Dry Cleaning until 1987. He then settled in Colorado running a large department store and then held other management positions throughout his career.

He retired to the community of Las Cruces, NM where he lived out his wonderful life. He had a passion for movies and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He was known for his sense of humor and quick wit. He had a loving heart and a compassionate spirit.

Survivors include his sons, Matthew Kuhlman and Chad Kuhlman (Deanna); his mother Helen Kuhlman; his grandson Calvin Kuhlman; his sister Beverly Goins (Charlie); his brothers Bob Kuhlman (Anita) and Arnie Kuhlman (Dixie).

He was preceded in death by his father David Kuhlman, and his friend and partner Larry Finnigsmier.
