Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Waterline installation for the new Kimball County Transit Service Building will cause a detour for drivers in the near future.
A date for the work has not been set, but the City of Kimball Street Department wants all citizens of Kimball and surrounding areas to be aware that there will be a complete closure at the intersection of 3rd Street and Chestnut Street for more than a week.
This will require Chestnut Street to be closed from 1st Street to 3rd Street. The city will detour North bound traffic to Oak Street and South bound traffic to Howard Street.
