1 New Case, All Others Recovered

Kimball County’s Latest COVID-19 Case Came From Close Contact

On Monday, July 6, the Panhandle Public Health District announced 13 more cases of COVID-19 in the Panhandle of Nebraska.

PPHD reported one case in Kimball County – a female in her 40s. The method of exposure was close contact.

Kimball County has 12 recovered cases of COVID-19 and one case which is active, that being the latest.

Neighboring Banner County has one recovered case and one active case as of July 6.

Nebraska doctors are urging residents to wear a mask to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Mask-wearing can be summed up in three points: COVID-19 is spread by droplets, masks prevent droplets from spreading and if you limit the spread of droplets you limit the spread of COVID-19.
