Changes Made At School District

Central Office Gets New Look; Farrar No Longer There

Reports throughout the community have indicated that two employees in the Kimball Public Schools’ district office at Kimball Jr/Sr High School are no longer employed in the district.

Those reports have been confirmed.

School board member Carrie Tabor, now working on the office staff, said by phone from the office that district business manager Harold Farrar was no longer working with the school system.

In addition, according to Tabor, an administration assistant position in the office also has been eliminated. The Observer has not confirmed who held that position.

Asked if the district position had been advertised to be filled, Tabor declined comment and referred any questions to Superintendent Elizabeth Owens.

Owens was not immediately available for comment.

Tabor’s board position expires in December. She lost her bid for re-election in the primary.
