More Fun With Stats; Gary Williams Deserves HOF

My good friend Con Marshall, who writes for the Chadron paper, enjoys putting together stats on Nebraska Panhandle sporting seasons and recently sent me his update of this year’s boys basketball records.

In particular, he was looking for names of guys who have made at least 50 or more 3-pointers in a season with Eric Moreno of Scottsbluff on top with 99 from the 2013 season.

He has Mike Daum of Kimball on his list at 70, but in checking my Kimball High records, Ryan Bourlier is the Longhorn leader with 88 from the 1999-20000 season, and in the 1998-99 season he made 71 treys. In his care...
