The Western Nebraska Observer presents these unofficial vote results from the Tuesday, May 12, primary election in Kimball County as a service to all of our readers.

The results normally would have been in this week's May 14 Observer print edition, but the paper's press deadline was moved up to before voting ended due to coronavirus restrictions.

Look for full election coverage of the primary election in the May 21 print and paid digital editions of the Western Nebraska Observer.

The "R" is for Republican, "D" for Democrat and "L" for Libertarian after candidate names.

Kimball County

President

– Donald Trump-R 968, Bill Weld-R 4, Write-In-R, 5.

– Joe Biden-D 103, Bernie Sanders-D 18, Write-In-D 9, Elizabeth Warren-D 4, Tulsi Gabbard-D 3.

Kimball School Board

– Chauncey G. Pedersen 525, Lanny Little 510, Albert Hargreaves 505, Tom O'Brien 363, Heather Norberg 296, Jennifer Griebel 264, Maggie Laughlin 264, Laura Perry 248, Carrie M. Tabor 174, Write-In 1.

The top six vote-getters will appear on the November general election ballot to fill three board seats. The unofficial primary results show a two-person tie for the sixth highest vote total.
