Virus Can't Stop Egg Hunts

Awesome Volunteers Keep Alive Kimball Easter Tradition

The Easter bunny makes a point before hiding eggs outside Kimball residences Saturday night.

As cancellations have continued to mount during April, the traditional annual Easter egg hunt at the Kimball High School was on that list of cancellations.

But Dawn Hickman had other plans.

The local resident and some wonderful volunteers took the Easter egg hunt to the homes of local children in order to bring some normalcy to them during this very unusual time.

Hickman and company prepared 1,300 eggs, visited 42 houses and did their best to make Easter normal for 102 children.

Her team of Easter bunnies included Bob Hinton, Grant Hickman, Raelynn Hinton, Emma Martin, Riley Hinton, Kim...
