Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First

Observer Taking COVID-19 Precautions

The Western Nebraska Observer is following recommended precautions of health authorities to promote social distancing at this time to help contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in our community.

The main change is that the Observer's front office door will be closed during work hours at 118 E. 2nd St., Kimball.

Customers visiting to do business are asked to drop their payments, news items and other documents in the mail slot next to the door.

We'll evaluate how long to do this and update you on our website and in the paper.

The Observer otherwise will operate pretty much as usual. We will try, as always, to put out the best possible paper to inform you about local news and how the Kimball area is enduring.

You can still call 308-235-3631 or email us for just about anything. We'll check it all frequently. For many of you, this will be just like always.

Best wishes to you all during this challenging time that we'll never forget.
