In Another Wreck, Blowing Dirt Believed To Have Hurt Visibility

Nebraska State Patrol reports that poor visibility due to blowing dirt was the reason for a two-vehicle accident on Highway 71 in Banner County at mile marker 39 on Monday morning, Feb 24.

One vehicle reportedly had slowed down due to the poor visibility and the other vehicle collided with the first.

In another accident, the driver in a rollover earlier this month has been released from Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, but the front-seat passenger is still in intensive care, said Brian Schmidt, the son and brother of the injured parties.
