Finalists Chosen For Economic Developer

Interviews for the city of Kimball special projects coordinator/economic developer position are tentatively planned for the week of Jan. 13.

City Administrator Dan Dean told the Observer on Tuesday that the city is conducting background checks before it interviews candidates for the key post.

He said a number of applications were received for the position and the field has been narrowed to three individuals.

The position opened when Amy Sapp resigned to take another job.
