The Big Man Coming To Banner School For Breakfast Dec. 7

Good morning, Banner County friends near and far.

As I write this, we are awaiting a predicted snowstorm. I am quite happy to keep on waiting. It would be great if all of you that are traveling for Thanksgiving do so in safety.

We did have school here for two days this week, and everyone will enjoy today through Sunday off for the holiday. However, next week they will be back to it and December.

On Monday, December 1 at 9 a.m. the junior high wrestling team will compete at Bayard, and on Wednesday, December 4 the One Act  students will have District competition in Hyannis. Good luck and safe travel to all of you.

Next Saturday, December 7 will be the second annual Breakfast with Santa at the Banner County School.

It will begin at 10 a.m. with many crafts in the small gym, pictures with Santa, and carriage rides, plus breakfast of course!

Birthdays here this week include Brensten McGowan, Hope Wurdemen, Don Cashler, David Griffiths, Tanner Groves and Pam Olsen. Happy Happy Birthday!

Anniversary congratulation go out to Mr. & Mrs. Monty Stoddard, Pat Mooney and Mark Knaub.
