The Kimball Longhorns lost 2-0 to St. Patrick's-North Platte by scores of 8-25 and 11-25 before turning in more competitive performances Saturday against Bridgeport and Perkins County in the SPVA conference tournament.
They lost 2-0 to Bridgeport by scores of 24-26 and 29-31; and 2-1 to Perkins County by scores of 23-25, 25-23 and 18-25.
That brought the Longhorns' record to 5-20 on the season going into Tuesday night's away match at Perkins County, which they lost 3-0 by scores of 23-25, 13-25 and 20-25.
The Longhorns travel to Ogallala on Monday for subdistrict play.
