And they're off! The 2019 Farmer's Day Fun Run begins on a damp and cool Saturday.
A total of 58 brave runners ran in this year's Farmer's Day Fun Run, according to Tiffany Johnson, who heads up the project.
There were only six runners in the 5-mile race won by Dennis Schildhauer with his time of 38 minutes and 23 seconds.
The 2-mile race attracted 53 runners, ranging from age 8 and under to the upper 80 age. Patrick Mars, entered in the 13-19 age division, was the winner with his time 13:07.
With an early morning start, the runners had to battle cold and wind. Following is the list of these hearty individuals who braved this weather.
