Longhorns Fall To State-Ranked Dundy County, 72-26

The Longhorns of Kimball High couldn’t keep pace with the quickness and speed of the visiting state ranked Dundy County­ Stratton Tigers in Friday night 8-man football action, losing 72-26 to the 4th ranked visitors.

Kimball kicked to start the contest and went to a surprise onside kick that Christian Allen Van Pelt recovered at the Dundy County 36 yard line but went 4 and out and the Tigers promptly turned their first series of offense into a touchdown with speedy sophomore quarterback Quade Myers going in from 15 yards out with 8:13 showing on the 1st quarter clock1,and then passed t...
