Katie Heeg had a round of 56-54=110 to take 5th place and give Kimball all four of their golfers a finish in the top five!

Coach Culek commented on the outstanding week of play.

"Each week we are setting small goals and each week we have been achieving those goals," she said. "This last tournament we shot our low team score of the season and 3 of our girls shot their lowest individual scores. Maddie Cook shot her best round ever. Katie Heeg, in her first year with the sport, is really improving and keeps dropping her scores. We need to keep working hard at practice and keep getting our scores even lower.

The Kimball girls will play at Mitchell today (Thursday) and then go to Gering on Sept. 17. They are at Ogallala September 24 and Bridgeport September 26.
