Pattie K Takes The Day In Championship Play

Playing on Day 1 of the Women's Association League Championship on Saturday were Charlotta Young, Betty Zeilinger, Alene Schilz, Jan Bashaw, Shirley Crossman, Jean Barrett, Shellon Anderson, Pattie Klinginsmith and Phyllis Greenwood.
Nine women competed in the League Championship on Saturday at the Four Winds Golf Course.
In the championship flight, Pattie Klinginsmith won with a 92 while Phyllis Greenwood took second with a 101.
Winning the net score category was Shellon Anderson with a 76.
Betty Zeilinger shot a 110 in the first flight followed by Jean Barrett with a 113.
Winning net score was Charlotta Young with an 82.
The second flight saw Alene Schliz take home the honors with a 124 and Jan Bashaw in second place with a 141.
Shirley Crossman used her handicap to claim the first place in net scoring with a 91.
On Saturday, Aug. 31, the ladies will complete the two-day, 36-hole league championship
