11th Annual Kimball Ranch Rodeo Finished A Little Wet

The winners of the 11th Annual Kimball Ranch Rodeo placed first in only one event and outpaced the runner-up team by just 10 seconds in total time. JDS Livestock placed overall first but only won the trailer loading event. JDS placed second in team tying and branding and doctoring but slipped to third in the wild cow milking. JDS Livestock included the following members Denum Santero, Clayton Symons, Denton Reener, and Ty Chasek.

Second place overall was Flying Bit Ranch, otherwise known as the Sterkle team from the Bridgeport area, with Casey Sterkel, Clint Sterkel, Jordan Sterkel and Tanner Willey. They won the team tying, placed third in trailer loading and second in branding and doctoring and the wild cow milking.

Third place overall was Whip N Ride. They were seconds off of the first place in trailer loading, fourth place in wild cow milking, but lagged in team tying and branding and doctoring, sixth place and eighth place, respectively.

Overall fourth place winners were Renegade Ranch, winning two of the team events-branding and doctoring and the wild cow milking, they placed third in team tying but struggled in trailer loading with an eighth place.

Sixteen bronc riders thrilled the crowd on Saturday with five individuals taking home a paycheck. Jesse Callahan scored an 80 for first place followed by Wesley Rosengreen scoring 79 and Dillon Cornelson with a a 78. TeJay Fenster and Colton Miller, both scored 75 and tied for fourth place.

Jordan Sterkel was selected as top hand and his horse was top horse.
