Tis the season once again for some tough and dirty kind of fun, as cowboys and cowgirls from surrounding areas saddle up to partake in the 11th Annual Kimball Ranch Rodeo this Saturday, June 8, at 5:30 p.m. at the Kimball/Banner County Fair Grounds.

Contestants from the neighboring states will all try their hand as they compete for the event titles as well as a team title in the four team events as well as the Ranch Bronc Riding with two time champion Ty Fenster looking for his third consecutive winning ride.

Along with Fenster trying for the title will be 15 other bronc riders. A total of 10 teams have secured their spot in the competition.

Each team will have four events to compete in hustling for the fastest time. Team events include: Trailer Loading, Branding and Doctoring, Team Tying, and of course the crowd favorite, the Wild Cow Milking.

As with every year there will be a beer garden for those of age as well as multiple food and craft vendors to enjoy as well.

"The Kimball Ranch Rodeo Committee will again use some of the proceeds from this event to sponsor two movies at the Goodhand Theater, as well as make a donation to a local charity," said Engstrom.

A event that is prepared for nearly all year long the committee members are more than great-full for the help of the community.

"On behalf of the KRRC, we would like to thank the community and surrounding area for their continued support over the years and making it possible for us to keep his event going strong for 11 years now," Engstrom said.

"We hope the spectators and contestants alike enjoy the event as much as we like putting it on."
