Buescher Takes Second At State

Tennis Player With Kimball Ties Enjoys 31-6 Season

Mallorie Buescher, a young lady with Kimball ties, closed out an exciting senior season of tennis with a runner-up finish in the Nebraska Class B State Tournament held in Lincoln.

Mallorie is a student at Lexington High School, and the daughter of Darin and Lisa Buescher, both Kimball High grads.

Her grandparents, Ray Buescher and Cindy Rasmussen, still reside in Kimball and are big fans of their granddaughter, traveling to see her play when ever possible.

Mallorie took a record of 27 and 5 into state tournament play, where she went 4 and 1 to end her final season with a record of 31-6.

Her plans are to attend college at Central Community College in Columbus for two years then to finish out at perhaps UNL in Lincoln.
