"We have a very dedicated elementary staff, when the opportunity to be a part of this team became available, I could not pass it up, I am very excited about the future!"

With her love of children and her desire to heighten their success, Soper is highly driven to help to continue to provide the best learning environment possible.

"One of my focuses will be to maximize every minute of our school day to make sure our students are prepared for their future."

"I also want to bring the fun back into learning by adding an After School Program at Mary Lynch. It will be called ELITE (Empowering Longhorns Inspires Tomorrows Excellence). It will run from 330 to 600 Monday-Thursday starting next school year. We (KPS staff) are very excited about all the possibilities for student with this program."

Soper added that she is very excited about the opportunity to work with the Mary Lynch Elementary staff to provide excellent education to all students.
