Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Work on Kimball’s underpass continues
Since construction began April 1, crews completed removal of old facilities along the east side of the roadway and began work to build the reinforced concrete retaining wall that will parallel the roadway behind the existing back of the curb.
“The latest winter weather shut down the project for a few days, but crews were able to resume work on the retaining wall, backfill with earth and install the drainage facilities that will be necessary to carry stormwater away from the project once complete,” said Dan Sitorius of engineering and construction firm Kirkham and Michael.
