Highway Superintendent, Commissioner Stepping Down

With spring time well on its way in Kimball County, many of us are ready to step out of the office early to enjoy the warm weather. However, for two Kimball County employees ,this warm weather might come as a bit more enjoyable.

County Highway Superintendent Dave Hottell informed the Kimball County Board of Commissioners last week at their regular meeting on April 2 that he is ready to get back to operating a grader.

"I love doing my job, but sometimes the stress is too much. I enjoy being outside working. I feel as if I am making more of a difference," said Hottell.
