And Hazel F. (Keenan) Schafer was born December 11, 1925 in Wray, CO. She grew up in Wray and was in her junior year of high school when she married Donald Clair Muller before he joined the Army and was sent to the Phillippines during WWII. Three children were born to them, Douglas Craig, Janet Kay, and Cynthia Sue.

When Don returned from the war he and Geneva ran the Riverside Dairy a mile west of Wray and began raising their family...
