Perkins Double Trouble For KHS

It was a disappointing loss in an action packed and exciting SPVA Tournament game for the Kimball High boys as they lost 60-59 in double overtime play this past Thursday evening at the College in North Platte.

After a first round loss to Bridgeport, as reported in last week’s Observer, the Horns dropped down into the loser’s bracket play and gave the Perkins County boys from Grant a battle deluxe before losing to finish in 7th place.

Kimball got behind early, trailing 13-7 at the end of the first quarter, and were outscored 14-9 in second quarter play to trail 27-16 at halftime. To it...
