Kimball Wrestling Club 6th At Battle In The Bluffs

Tri-State Grapplers 16th, Banner County MatCats 18th

Kimball Wrestling Club, Tri-State Grapplers and the Banner County MatCats were at it again last weekend before a huge crowd in Scottsbluff at the Battle in the Bluffs Wrestling Tournament.

Kimball finished sixth in team scores with 248 points, Tri-State Grapplers finished in 16th place with 136 points, and the Banner County MatCats finished 18th with 76 points.

Kimball Wrestling Club individual results:

• Pre K-K 47-50 division: Nash Burback placed fourth and scored 16 team points.

• 1st-2nd 53 division: Britton Culek placed first and scored 40 team points, Trajan Johnson placed fourth and scored four team points.

• 3rd-4th 70 division: Trey Cook placed third and scored 20 team points.

• 3rd-4th 80 division: Camron McGinnis placed third and scored 20 team points.

• 3rd-4th 114 division: Hunter Lonsdale placed third and scored 20 team points, Wyatt Cook placed fourth and scored 16 team points.

• 7th-8th 80 division: Matthew Johnson placed second and scored 30 team points.

• 7th-8th 117 division: James McGinnis placed first and scored 40 team points.

• 7th-8th 140 division: Trey Schindler placed second and scored 30 team points.

Tri-State Grapplers individual results:

• 1st-2nd 40 division: Ethan Bibbey placed first and scored 40 team points.

• 1st-2nd 45 division: Jesse Gortney placed third and scored 20 team points.

• 1st-2nd 59 division: Jax Thurin placed first and scored 40 team points.
