Dillon Wise Signs to Golf at McCook Community College

Dillon Wise signed his letter of intent this past week to attend McCook Community College in McCook, Nebraska, where he will continue his education and golf career. The Kimball High senior will close out a very successful high school career this spring hoping to once again help lead his Kimball High golf team to a bountiful year of honors and awards.

The standout golfer attracted lots of attention from many schools and along with his scholarship offer from McCook, he also had offers from Midland, Doane, York, Concordia, Torrington, South Western Kansas, Arcadia University, PA, and Columbus, along with North Eastern in Sterling, the only other school he visited.

Dillon said "I just felt real good about McCook.I liked the coach, the golf course, and the school. My Dad and my family agreed with my choice and we accepted the offer of coach Tyler Loop".The family were very favorable in part because of the closeness to Kimball as it will make it easier for them to travel to watch Dillon compete.

Father Chad has extra special interest in the signing as he has been Dillon's instructor ever since he could pick up a golf club, and has served as his High School coach as well.He was in complete agreement with the choice of McCook Community College.

Before moving on to the next level of play, Dillon will have his final season of play with the Kimball High team this spring and has high expectations of helping his Longhorn team to reap some top honors and of course a return trip to the State Tournament and a possible State Championship.
