She was born on October 10,1925, to Zackery and Hattie Goss of Parrot, Georgia. She attended school in Parrot and she graduated as Salutatorian of her high school class. During WWll she worked at Tom Houston Peanut Company in Columbus, Georgia, and went to USO dances at Fort Benning, where she loved to jitterbug. She met Jack A. Warren, who was stationed at Fort Benning, and married him in September.

They moved from Georgia to Colorado and eventually to Kimball, Nebraska. Louisa (Lou) worked at Kimball County Hospital for 54 years before having to retire. She was a devout attender of the Methodist Church in Kimball. She loved to embroider pillow cases and won several ribbons for them at the Kimball County Fair. Although she rarely showed it, she was a loving, caring, smart, and hardworking wife, mother, and member of Kimball. When she moved to Washington State, she most regretted not being able to continue to help others through her nursing and she thought she was a burden on her family and those who cared for her. She will be missed.

She is survived by her brother Billy Goss of Columbus, Georgia, her sons Jack Jr. of Tonasket, Washington, and Timothy A. Warren of Los Angles California, and her grandchildren: Jaquelyne Harrington (Bonny Lake, WA), Dionne Benavide (Secuirty ,CO), Corey Warren (stationed in Germany), and Jenifer Mudgett (Ardenoir, WA). She also had six great-grandsons, one great granddaughter, and one great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Calvin Goss, her sister Elizabeth A. Champlaine, and her husband Jack A. Warren Sr.
