Reva J. Spiller

Reva Jean Spiller, 90, of Kingsland, Texas died October 26, 2018. She was born to Albert an Doris (Spece) Olsen on April 27, 1928 in Vim, Colorado.

Reva was the youngest of ten children. The family lived in Vim until the death of her father when the family moved to Kimball, Nebraska. Reva moved to Los Angeles after her mother died when she was a teenager. Reva married her one true love, Richard "Dick" Spiller in 1947 in Denver, Colorado after he served in the United States Marine Corp. Dick and Reva were entrepreneurs owning several businesses including a motel, antique store and a beauty salon. Flipping houses and being mystery shoppers were just a few of their interesting jobs. Reva was a gifted painter and crafter and was an active, honorary member of the Kingsland House of Arts and Crafts.

Reva is survived by her daughter, Louise, grandchildren Christopher and Samantha and their children, her 103 years young sister, Mary (Olsen) Lewis of Minneola, Texas and a host of nieces and nephews including Jane of Wyoming, Carol of Mississippi and Gay of North Carolina who would meet every summer in Texas for their "Sister Party".

Reva is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Bob, Red, Hank, Sid, Bert and Bill and her sisters, Georgie and Lois.
