Hear the Historic Hotel story on Farmer's Day

A small light will shine in the memory of the Wheat Growers Hotel this coming Farmers Day weekend, with a bit of history from former owner Ed Avila. This opportunity will give residents of Kimball a chance to hear the many different stories of the historic hotel for themselves.

Avila was asked by the Plains Historical Society to give a presentation at the Downtown Museum directly following the Farmers Day parade on Saturday, Sept. 29.

“I am looking forward to sharing the hotel experience with others, it’s always a good time,” said Avila.
