Local 4-H club supports Chair-ity

The Kimball Highpoint 4-H Club is participating in the Chair-ity Art Event through West Nebraska Arts Center in Scottsbluff. It is a Painted Chair Fundraiser to benefit Soroptimist International of Scotts Bluff County. There will a Best of Show and a People's Choice Award given.

The mission of Soroptimist is to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. Proceeds from the Chair-ity Art Event will go towards scholarships to given by SI of Scotts Bluff Count to local high schools seniors and ladies in the community that are furthering their education.

The Chair-ity Art Event will open with a reception on Thursday, Sept. 13, with a cash bar, hors d' oeuvres and refreshments from 5 to 7 p.m. and will continue in the Bronson Gallery through Oct. 28, 2018.
