Four Winds Golf Pro Chad Wise shakes hands and presents the individual first place gold medal to his daughter Payton Wise at the awards presentation following play in the Kimball High Invitational Golf Tournament. Wise, a freshman on the Kimball team, captured her first High School win, and also tied the Kimball High School record with her round of 82 and now shares the record with Loni Janicek who established the record in play on the Kimball course in 1999. Payton came back two days later to win again at the Creek Valley Tournament shooting a round of 86.

A break-out week for Kimball High freshman Payton Wise as she picked up the first place gold medals in both tournaments the Kimball girl's golf team was involved in this past week.
Wise finished first at the Kimball Invitational trying the school record with her first round of 82, and then captured the medalist honors again at the Creek Valley Tournament held at Chappell with her round of 86. Her efforts helped Kimball to second place finishes in both events.
