Potter Days Royalty crowned

Potter Beta Sigma Phi Sorority sponsor the annual Potter Days Queen competition with three seniors at Potter-Dix High School.

Vote ballots were sent to residents of Potter and Dix via mail and were to be sent in prior to the chosen date.

Requirements for this opportunity include being a junior or senior at Potter-Dix High School or in a homeschooling program. All candidates must live in Potter or Dix with their parents or other guardians.

All candidates must be a good student in class which includes acceptable grades along with nice attendance.

The three candidates are Ginny Herboldsheimer, daughter of Bryan and Laurie Herboldsheimer, Micheala Rotert, daughter of Mike and Mel Rotert, and Annaleigh Schuessler, daughter of Craig and Rhonda Schuessler.

Everyone was invited to attend the crowning.

"I'm excited to be among the three candidates for this year for Miss Potter Days, mainly because we're all friends and we know that there will be no hard feelings with whoever wins. I'm looking forward to this year and finding out who ends up with the official title," Ginny said.

On Thursday, Aug. 30 at the Potter Community Hall, Michaela Rotert, daughter of Mike and Mel Rotert was crowned Miss Potter 2018.

Herboldsheimer and Schuessler were named her attendants and together the royalty reigned during Potter Days last weekend and represent Potter in area parades this fall.
