Letter to the Editor

As President of the Nebraska Library Association, I was pleased to see the Kimball Public Library described as “a social center of the community” on Thursday, Aug. 16. I think it is great that the community recognizes the treasure that it has in its midst as Library Director Jan Sears and her team’s ability to win grants and develop partnerships to provide vital resources and services are exceptional. I only wish more library directors in the state (and the nation, for that matter) would look more to Kimball to see a model of what a 21st century library should be doing.
