Curt Cornils

Curt was born Curtis Lee Cornils on July 29, 1953 in Kimball, Nebraska. He was the third child of five children born to Venette and Roy Cornils. He lived south of Bushnell, NE and enjoyed working on the farm until he left for college.

Curt attended Frontier School of the Bible in LaGrange, Wyoming and graduated from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln in 1976 with a degree in electrical engineering. He later received his Master's degree from Arizona State University.

Curt and Jerri resided in the Phoenix area all of their married life, which would have been 38 years this September.

Curt loved learning new things and spending time with his family and discussing deep Biblical and Scientific truths. He facilitated many small group Bible Studies throughout the years. Curt rarely missed an opportunity to show the Lord's kindness to others.

Curt was a certified scuba diver and enjoyed diving with Jerri in Hawaii and the Carribbean. He loved snow skiing and even tried his hand at snowboarding but ended up with a couple of broken ribs.

Curt was an astronomy buff and enjoyed pointing out the constellations on beautiful starry nights in Pinetop.
