Bemis sets new school triple jump record at Bayard B-C-D meet

Kimball had some highlights at the Bayard B-C-D Track Invite this past week, but none brighter than the winning triple jump mark by freshman, Sam Bemis, which also established a new Kimball High all-time record for the event. Bemis got out 34'2.5" to win the event and better the old mark of 33'9.5" set by Shelby Vogel in 2014.

The jumps were once again a strong point for Kimball as Jenna Greenwood finished 3rd in the triple jump at 32'9" for a very good mark and Megan Spicer was one place out of a medal in the triple jump with her 7th place finish at 31'8.5".
