Potter-Dix tracksters have good day at Kimball Invite

The Potter-Dix Track Team enjoyed a good outing at the Kimball Invitational Track and Field Meet with the girls finishing 4th in the team standings with 76 points and the boys ending up 5th with 25 points.

Senior, Trinity Langley, excelled in winning the high jump at 4'8", taking 2nd in the triple jump at 32'3.5", 3rd in the 200 meter dash in 31.10 and teaming with Jessica Gingerich, Payge Hoffman and December Wright to run the winning time in the 4x400 relay, clocking 4:57.40 to take the gold.

Her senior teammate, Payge Hoffman, also had a solid day, running 2nd in the 300 hurdles in 52.50, taking 3rd in the long jump at 14'5.5" and running a leg on the winning 4x400 relay.

Other places for the Lady Coyotes saw Jessica Gingerich run 3rd in the 400 with a time of 1:12.40. Regan Williams was 4th in the 3200 in 15:55.10 and 6th in the 1600 in 7:20.50. Mary Kasten ran 6th in the 3200 in 17:25.20. Fedalina Schuessler ran 3rd in the 100 meter hurdles with her time of 20.90 and December Wright was 4th in 21.30. Wright and Schuessler teamed with McKynna Deeds and Virginia Herboldsheimer to finish 3rd in the 4x100 relay with their time of 1:02.70.

For the boys, Dylan Nielsen took 3rd in the high jump clearing 5'4". Nielsen teamed with Grant Hickman, Tai Rogge and Donnie Moench to finish 3rd in the 4x100 relay with a time of 50.60. Hickman, Nielsen, Moench and Brandon Mendoza ran 5th in the 4x400 relay in 4:35.10. Hickman also took 5th in the long jump at 16'10.75". Preston Corfield was 4th in the pole vault at 8'6" and Terrell Gray was 6th in the discus at 96'11".
