Lady Coyotes take Minatare

The Lady Coyotes are still on a roll defeating the Minatare Lady Indians 34-21.

After the first quarter action the game was tied with each putting up four points on the board, however, into the second quarter Potter-Dix was able to extend a small five point lead putting up nine points to Minatare’s four. Ending the first half 8-13 with the Lady Coyotes in control.

The fight wasn’t out of the Lady Indians just yet in the third period putting up another eight points to Potter-Dix’s eight keeping the lead to just five.

The last quarter of play is where the Lady Coyotes took charge and out-scored the Lady Indians by eight points leaving the final score 34-21.

Once again this year it was senior Audrey Juelfs leading the scoring for the Lady Coyotes with 12, followed by Trinity Langley with 10, Kelsey Hoffman with five, Reagan Williams with four, Brooke Moench with two and Makayla Merz with one.

Langley hit the boards hard in this matchup ending with 12 rebounds, Hoffman was behind her with eight, Juelfs and Moench with four, Merz with two and Mikayla Lee with one.

Minatare 4 4 8 5 - 21

Potter-Dix 4 9 8 13 - 34

The Lady Coyotes will host Garden County tomorrow, Friday with games starting at 4 p.m., hoping to improve to 14-2 on the season.
