North Platte Community College Head Recruiter was in town this past week to conduct the signing of a letter of intent by Kimball High senior, Hannah Biesecker. With the signing, Hannah will now become the second family member to select the sport of volleyball at the college level, but unlike her older sister, Madison, Hannah is staying closer to home in choosing the college located in North Platte, making a shorter trip for family and friends who wish to continue to watch her play. Madison just completed a two-year career at Southeast Community College in Beatrice.

Vicki Hopping made the trip to Kimball to handle the signing process and said they were looking at Hannah as either a middle or right-side hitter, but went on to say, "We are very impressed with her talent and with her jumping ability, but after we get her aboard we will determine just where to play her as she has the ability to play anywhere on the court." Hopping went on to say that when she completes the 14 member roster for next year, she feels the Knights will be very competitive and will battle for all of the top honors. Hopping was also going to sign yet another Western Nebraska player as she was headed to Potter to sign the Coyotes six foot Trinity Langley.

Recruiter Hopping made the signing even more special by presenting Hannah, her mother, Sheryl, and Kimball High Coach Jeri Ferguson with bouquets, and gave Hannah's dad, Drew, a popcorn ball.
