Lady Cats suffer back-back losses

Senior night ended in a loss for the Banner County Lady Wildcats last Thursday night.

Banner County faced off with Sioux County and lost in three sets, 25-11, 25-14, and 25-22.

MaKenna Dahlgrin led the attack with 11 kills and two aces. Dahlgrin was credited with three solo blocks and nine digs with 17 receptions.

Jadyn Cross received 15 serves, added four kills, three digs and two assists to the Banner County effort.

Emily Singleton received 10 serves, had one kill, two digs and two assists on the night. Bailee Underhill served up two aces, Rylie Mason and Sierra Flores each added one.

The Lady Cats battled Creek Valley and succumbed to the Storm 2-0 the following Saturday, Oct. 14, in two brutal sets beating the Banner County club 25-1 and 25-8.

The Lady Cats battled the Potter-Dix Coyotes and the Leyton Warriors in a triangular on Tuesday, Oct. 17, but no information was available at press time.

The Lady Cats will host Crawford, 9-12 on the season, and Hyannis (22-1) on Thursday, Oct. 19 before traveling to Big Springs to face the South Platte Blue Knights (8-10) on their home court, Friday, Oct. 20.
