Linda Lou Aulston, 70, of Julesburg, CO passed away October 11, 2017 in Greeley, CO. Visitation will be held Monday, October 16th at Austin-Tennant Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 17th at 11:00 A.M., at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Julesburg, with Reverend Dave Ahlman officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Linda was born August 17, 1947, in Kimball, Nebraska, to Gardner and Llera (Heidemann) Nott. She attended Dix Public Schools in Dix, NE. On August 23, 1969, she married Russel Gene Aulston in Kimball, NE. During her working life, Linda was a Bank Teller for First National Bank in Julesburg, and Adams Bank & Trust in Chappell, NE.
Linda was first and foremost a wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with and watching her children and grandchildren, in their various activites. She also enjoyed knitting and quilting.
Linda is survived by her husband, Russel Gene Aulston. Son Dennis and wife Tammy and grandchildren Jayden, Jax, & Jory, all of Julesburg. Son Darrell and wife Kali, and grandchild Riggs, all of Commerce City. Sister Dolores Merrifield and husband Ed of Des Moines, IA. Mother-in-law Lolita Aulston of Yellow Jacket, CO, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gardner and Llera, sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Glen Hendrix. Sister Hazel Marks, father-in-law Russel Aulston, and sister-in-law Leta Uhl.
Memorials can be made in lieu of flowers to the Linda Aulston Memorial Fund for future scholarships in Linda's name c/o Dennis Aulston 216 W. 7th St. Julesburg, CO 80737. Austin-Tennant Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
