Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
The Lady Longhorn golfers had a chilly outing last Monday, Oct. 2, for District Competition at Ogallala.
This was the last high school tournament for the three senior girls.
Senior Lila Moore shot a 122, which was not her best of the season, but she nearly ended up making it to state - few strokes away.
Senior Leisha Casimiro shot a 136, which was good enough for a personal best, and senior Natasha Selves shot a 159.
Maddie Cook, and Raven Johnson struggled a bit with nerves and the weather didn’t help out much either, according to coach Katie Culek. Johnson shot a 143 and Cook shot a 170 to end the season.
Moore, Casimiro, and Selves were all honored, alongside their parents, during the Kimball-Bayard game this past Friday night for senior night.
Good luck seniors, in whatever the future holds!
