Kimball Police Chief Andy Bremer takes a turn in the heavy equipment as the City crushes one of two old "shoot cars" at the Kimball Landfill. More donated cars are currently being sought for Police training exercises.
Old "shoot" cars that were most likely donated to the Kimball Police Department years ago, have now been smashed.
Thursday, Sept. 28, Chief Andy Bremer, pictured below, and Mayor Keith Prunty watched as the shoot cars KPD used for training purposes got crushed.
"When the cars reach this point that they are pretty much unusable and we donate them to the City of Kimball for scrap," Bremer said.
These cars come in handy for different training exercises with his officers, "Practice shooting through a window, all the things you don't know until you have had the chance to do it."
Bremer said they are looking to take one donation car for the KPD to use as a shoot car for further training.
