Kimball runners continue improving as season nears end

The fall sports season is starting to wine down with only a few weeks left. Kimball Cross Country was in action in Gothenburg last Thursday Sept. 28.

"All seven of these young men ran their season best times," said Coach Tiffany Johnson.

Johnson thought the meet went really well, "We were proud of how our kids ran, we feel they competed hard. They made some adjustments to the course from previous years, but I feel that they improved the course."

Coach Johnson and her team are looking forward to this week as they have two meets, one today, Thursday, as well as, one tomorrow, Friday. Kimball Cross Country will run today at 4 in Grant for SPVA and then Friday morning at 11 in Mitchell for WTC.

The Longhorn runners will be getting ready to head to Bayard for districts next week on Oct. 12.
