26th Annual Kimball Hospital Foundation Golf Classic huge success

The 26th annual Kimball Hospital Foundation Golf Classic was held this past Saturday at the Four Winds Golf Course and was termed "A Huge Success" by Kerry Ferguson, the man in charge. A total of 112 golfers, or 28 four person teams, enjoyed the nice day that dampened a free golfers at the tail end of the day when a brief rain storm swept through, but there were no complaints.

This year's winning team was the team of Randy Bohac, Steve Linn, Bert Linn, and Gary Haack shooting a winning round of 58. The second place team, just one stroke back, was Mike Petko Jr., Dave Wolf, Chuck Christensen, and Kenny Greenwood with their round of 59, and the third place team with a score of 60 was the Vince's Corner team of Henry Heeg, Jr., Brett McCarville, Jeff Greenwood and Keith Staehr.

Chuck Christensen was the winner of a Drone Quadricopter in the putting contest drawing, donated by Spectrum Reach. Michael Reuter won a Treager Pro pellet grill donated by Bonnie Risk. Ken and Cynthia Hunter donated four 55 inch Ultra HD TV sets and the winners names drawn were Melissa Prante, Evan Smith, Michael Ferguson, and Larry Snyder. Tickets were sold for a chance to win one of the TV sets, and the grill.

The proceeds from this year's tournament will be used to purchase four new examination tables for Kimball Health Services according to Foundation Director Kerry Ferguson. Ferguson thanked everyone who participated in any way, including all of the donors and all of the players plus all of the people who worked hard to make this year's Classic a success. As expected, the course was in near perfect condition thanks to Jeremy Williams and his staff, and Four Winds Pro Chad Wise and his staff made sure things ran smoothly and all golfers were taken care of. The 26th annual Foundation Classic is in the books and the 27th annual is already in the planning stage.
