Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First

Jock Talk

A field of golfers turned out for the Ladies Panhandle Senior Golf Tournament Monday at the Four Winds Golf Course. The format of the day was a 4-person scramble and some of our local Kimball ladies fared well. Alene Schilz was a member of the winning team that shot a handicap score of 56.98. Jean Barrett and Judy Brighton were both on the second place team that shot 60.50. Dee Buddecke was on the 3rd place team that shot 60.70 and Shirley Crossman was on the 4th place team that had a 61.60 final tally. I might mention that there were some really Hot ladies teeing it up on Monday....and they were looking for air conditioning whenever they could.

It was a very special day for Marilyn Fisher of Torrington as she had a Hole-in-One on Hole number 17!
