Local writing contest deadline nears

Do you or anyone you know enjoy writing?

A Six Corners of Nebraska Contest, “Future Great Writers of Nebraska” is just the thing to showcase your best work. The Panhandle Southwest region is taking entries from writers ages 13 to 25 through July 1.

All types of writing are eligible, including but not limited to, fiction, non-fiction, articles, books, poems, news columns/articles, video game writing, and screen writing, just to name a few.

A maximum of 1,000 words will be accepted, one entry per person, three prescreened entries per class/group with a maximum of 30 entries per contest.

Awards will be presented, in person, on August 6. This contest is sponsored by The Nebraska Writers Guild.
