Freshman Jenna Greenwood was sixth in the triple jump at 30'11.25", and was eighth in the high jump at 4'4". Kennedy Lewis did not place in the pole value but had a PR of 7'0". The 4x100 relay team ran fifth with Biesecker, Fiehtner, Greenwood, and Kate Reader teaming up to run 53.26.

Senior Sprinter Kyle Spicer did not compete as he was nursing a leg problem but should be ready for today's District meet being held at Mitchell. Coach Gene Mohr was not putting a lot of pressure on his squad to preform at their ultimate at Bayard but at today's, Thursdays District Meet it is a different situation. "We are hoping to have our best performances today as we are trying to get as many of our athletes qualified for the state meet as possible" Said Mohr. Start time at Mitchell was set for 10 a.m. but could vary some depending on weather, but will be held regardless. The top two individuals in each event and the winning relay teams, plus some additional bests from all districts will advance to the state meet coming up May 19-20 at Omaha Burke Stadium.
